Show Highlights

1. This year Neftegaz was co-located with the 26th edition of the Elektro International Exhibition for Electrical Equipment, Lighting Engineering, Building Automation. It is a perfect combination of events for the fuel and energy sector. Direct contacts between manufacturers of oil and gas and electrical equipment increase the events' efficiency and promote industrial cooperation between enterprises of this country's main economic sectors.

2. It is the second time that Neftegaz was joined by the National Oil and Gas Forum. The events brought together representatives of relevant ministries and departments, oil and gas companies, research organizations, equipment manufacturers, key industry experts. It is an efficient tool that facilitates cooperation of the Russian government and relevant ministries with representatives of oil and gas companies.

The forum was opened with the plenary session on the strategy of scientific and technical development of the oil and gas industry: government regulation, market incentives and international cooperation.

The first day also featured the session on competition among oil and gas technologies: import substitution in key sectors of the oil and gas industry, localization of production and export potential of the Russian fuel and energy industry, round tables on analyzing main development areas of the oil and gas industry, and IT in the oil and gas industry: practical aspects of import independence and cybersecurity.

The second day offered round table discussions mostly focused on technologies and innovative potential of the Russian oil and gas industry.

3. The Neftegaz 2017 Mediacentre provided information support and hosted press events of Hakel Ros, Himmash-Apparat, PIEZUS, TAM International, Arctex, NTS, Cable Alliance Holding, Vira Realtime, and REAM Group. The Neftegaz.Daily helped both exhibitors and visitors to Neftegaz to navigate the halls of the exhibition, find companies they search for, and be up to date with the most interesting associated events.

4. Schneider Electric, the partner of Neftegaz 2017, organized the Innovation Summit 2017 forum and exhibition showcasing innovative solutions for energy efficiency and energy saving, manufacturing processes and technologies.

More than 100 associated events covered the most relevant issues of the industry. The main focus was made on the Industrial Internet.
