Russian technologies

The show welcomed leading Russian enterprises that demonstrated their focus on active innovation and high-tech solutions for mining, transportation, and automation.

During the show, a number of agreements were signed aimed at developing management systems, personnel training, and cooperation in the field of transportation and processing of hydrocarbons. These documents are considered as the basis for further joint projects in the fuel and energy sector.

New�products�and�solutions

- AI-controlled robotic systems for horizontal drilling, demonstrated, in particular, at the stands of international companies; such solutions are promoted as a way to reduce risks and improve drilling accuracy.

- Unmanned systems: drones and underwater vehicles for inspection and exploration of pipelines and marine infrastructure, as well as solutions based on digital field twins and predictive analytics to reduce equipment downtime by up to 30%.

- Energy-efficient pumping and compressor equipment, including electric motors with a claimed efficiency of up to 95%, as well as new highly reliable shut-off valves and anti-corrosion coatings for Arctic conditions.

- New types of electric drives and fittings: a small-sized electric drive of ABC ZEIM Automation, special ball valves for high temperatures, valves with polyethylene pipes and updated intelligent positioners for precise flow control.

- Explosion-proof and industrial IT equipment: new generation panel computers (for example, FRONT Panel with the prospect of inclusion in the register of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade) and integrated solutions for industrial automation and explosion protection.

Key agreements and contracts

- Baikal Electronics and Reglab signed a contract the supply of at least 1.5 million Russian-made Baikal U microcontrollers over the next five years.

- AvalonElectroTech and Nienschanz-Automatica signed a strategic distribution agreement, which provides that the latter receives the status of a federal distributor of industrial switches of Stupinsky Electrotechnical Plant.

- Isource and Metran Project signed a cooperation agreement in the field of communications, automation of technological processes, and development and implementation of software and automated process control system equipment.

The conference programme of�Neftegaz 2026�hosted the Panel Discussion on Automation of the Oil and Gas Industry: the Search for Optimal Solutions for Sustainable Development. The event was organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with the support of RegLab and Prosoft-Systems Group.

Its moderator was�Vasil Sharifullin, Director of Government Relations at the Association of Russian Electronics Developers and Manufacturers.

According to industry experts, automation is a strategic area in which it is necessary to achieve technological sovereignty and continuously develop own developments and competencies. The conference participants discussed the issues of automation of technological processes in the oil and gas industry, taking into account the interests of all parties to this process and ensuring the stable development of Russian developments and solutions that meet the expectations of customers and government requirements.

In the dialogue format, the parties shared their vision and discussed the capabilities of customers to implement effective, cost-competitive solutions, conditions for the development of Russian solutions for automated process control systems, and the impact of regulations on the market.

The conference programme of�Neftegaz 2026�opened with the Conference on Industrial Generation for Oil and Gas Companies, organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with the support of the EnergoInnovation Association of Innovative Enterprises in the Energy Sector.

The event was moderated by�Mikhail Smirnov, President at EnergoInnovation.

Elena Medvedeva, Director of the Department of Project and Investment Activities at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. She stressed that energy is the heart of the economy. Therefore, the topic of industrial generation is a key topic for the entire industrial development of Russia, and first of all for its competitiveness.

Nikolay Isakov, Vice President at the Russian Gas Society, made a detailed report on the current situation in the industry. The conference was attended by�Natalia Komarova, a member of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly,�Kirill Molodtsov, a member of the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Energy,�Natalia Zakharova, Vice President at Gazprombank,�Sergey Mayorov, Chair at the Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan, and representatives of the industry�s companies.

The conference addressed issues of cooperation and collaboration in large infrastructure projects, technological sovereignty in the oil and gas industry, digitalization of energy facilities, advanced engineering solutions for severe environment, and much more.

Neftegaz 2026 celebrates quarter-century anniversary

The 25^th edition of the International Exhibition for Equipment and Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industry � Neftegaz 2026 has opened its doors at Crocus Expo. The event is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Energy and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This year, more than 800 companies from Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Turkiye, and Uzbekistan present their products and solutions on an area of 18,000 square metres. China has a national pavilion. There are 446 Russian exhibitors. Some of them take part in the show within their regional pavilions.

The show presents the electric power industry, explosion-proof equipment at fuel and energy complex facilities, mechanical engineering, pumps, LNG, shut-off and control equipment, oilfield services, pneumatics, automation, IT technologies in the oil and gas industry, additive technologies, petrochemistry and oil refining, metrology, and much more.

According to industry experts, Neftegaz 2026 will once again become a platform for dialogue between government, science and business.

Show highlights

Russian technologies and regional industry

The exhibition was attended by leading Russian enterprises, which demonstrated the active implementation of innovations.

Rosatom presented a wide range of solutions for the oil and gas industry. Rosatom Oil and Gas Technologies demonstrated a multiphase RVG-1 flow meter for measuring gas, oil and water flow rates.

RASU demonstrated mobile substations for backup power supply, as well as radioisotope devices for monitoring the level and density of petroleum products. In addition, there were modern instrumentation and automation systems from specialised enterprises and the Research Institute of Technical Physics and Automation.

Krasnodar Krai presented a group stand with five enterprises, including Kubanneftemash presenting equipment for hard-to-recover oil, Robals with balancing machines, and Neftemash with modular equipment for oil and gas treatment.

The Saratov-based plant of SKL Group presented fittings and pipeline equipment, which were highly appreciated by both customers and industry experts.

For the first time, the Kolomna Locomotive Works showed a mock-up model of a Russian-made 900 kW GPK-9 gas piston power plant, developed jointly with the TMH Engineering Center for Engine Manufacturing. The power plant is designed to run on various types of fuels and can be used as a primary and backup source of energy supply.

SSTenergomontazh, one of the leaders in industrial electric heating, presented innovative solutions for industrial electric heating based on self-regulating and resistive cables, as well as the VeLL system, which is the world’s only system for heating pipelines up to 150 km long from a single power supply point.

Key topics: challenges and solutions in drilling, production, refining, LNG, compressor equipment, technological sovereignty, industrial cooperation in the oil and gas engineering, digitalization and robotization, environmental sustainability and ESG practices, personnel training for new technological challenges, and legal and environmental aspects in the fuel and energy sector

The Eurasian Oil and Gas Forum, held within Neftegaz 2025, welcomed more than 2,000 participants from 15 countries, including China, India, Iran, the country members of OPEC and the CIS. �

The discussions covered the topics of technological sovereignty, the climate agenda, international cooperation and resource saving. Special attention was paid to the use of AI in industry and the implementation of Russia\'s Energy Strategy until 2050. Other important topics were prospects for the export of Russian LNG and the development of infrastructure projects such as the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline.

NEFTEGAZ.LIVE also hosted a ceremony of signing of a cooperation agreement between Atomiq Soft, which was the show’s sponsor of the automation territory, and TREI.

During the show, Bardin Central Research Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy and Metran Management also signed a cooperation agreement at the sponsor’s stand in the presence of Russia’s Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Mikhail Yurin.
