the 23rd edition of the International Exhibition for Equipment and Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industry

Neftegaz is one of the top ten largest oil and gas trade shows in the world. Every year, it demonstrates the latest oil and gas and refining equipment and technologies to industry professionals and provides every opportunity to generate and expand business contacts and discuss a wide range of issues facing the industry. 

Neftegaz has been held annually in conjunction with the National Oil and Gas Forum since 2016. 

Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation:

“The forum and exhibition traditionally offer a platform to present the latest and breakthrough technological developments for the oil and gas industry and to establish cooperation among the industry’s representatives.” 

The official opening ceremony will be held on 15 April at 12.00 in Pavilion No.1.

Show highlights

This year, Neftegaz has become larger. Two new pavilions No. 4 and No. 7 have significantly expanded the exhibition area, and the outdoor area has quadrupled.

This year’s exhibitors include manufacturers and suppliers of oil and gas, refining, electrical and power equipment for the oil and gas industry, as well as organisations involved in the fuel and energy sector and related industries.

An important part of the showcase is occupied by foreign companies, which are interested in working in the Russian market and are ready to conclude new promising contracts. 

The number of participants in the National Pavilion of China has increased. They are taking part in the show with the support of the China General Machinery Industry Association Ltd. and the China Petroleum & Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association.

Neftegaz 2024 also presents its partner event – the National Oil and Gas Forum. It will take place on 16–18 April in Hall 3 of Pavilion No.8. 

Pavel Zavalny, President at the Russian Gas Society:

“Today, more than ever before, it is important to coordinate the efforts of authorities, business, science and education in order to provide answers to external challenges. Neftegaz 2024 and the National Oil and Gas Forum serve as one of the most important tools for such coordination. It is these platforms that offer representatives of the oil and gas industry and related industries every opportunity to present their vision of the prospects of the fuel and energy sector and outline key areas for further growth.”

The forum’s programme includes three key thematic areas with each day the forum devoted to one of them.

On the first day, 16 April, the Strategy Session on Russian Fuel and Energy Sector: Functioning under External Restrictions. 10 Years Later will pay special attention to international business partnership in the oil and gas industry, expansion of production cooperation as a strategic priority for achieving technological sovereignty of the EAEU countries, restructuring of logistics schemes for Russian hydrocarbon supplies, and personnel issues.

The second day, 17 April, will be focused on the Strategy Session on Technological Sovereignty in the Fuel and Energy Sector: How to Create Technologies in the Era of Change?, devoted to modernisation and technological development of the Russian oil sector, state support measures for import substitution, and the most important and breakthrough solutions, including digital technologies and reverse engineering.

The closing day, 18 April, will feature the Eurasian Climate Congress. Its participants will discuss new decarbonisation technology and carbon management trends.  

The minimum age limit for attending Neftegaz 2024 is 12.
