Neftegaz 2022 conference programme covers a wide range of industry topics

The discussion was moderated by Viktor Solntsev, Director General of IVM Consulting Group. He noted that today there are 7 million SMEs, among which 5 million enterprises are working. They are united in the lists of small and medium enterprises. SME should be involved in high-tech projects of the oil and gas industry.
Iliya Dimitrov, Chairman of OPORA Russia's Committee on Digitalization of the Economy and Public Procurement, spoke about how digital platforms for SME corporations are developing. In particular, he noted that the current situation is changing supply chains and logistics. "There needs to be a fundamental change in the economic situation, including for small and medium-sized businesses. The task of import substitution is key. We have to re-establish supply chains, revise technology. Oil and gas technologies are complicated. In the current situation, when delivery is on a tight schedule, extraordinary decisions have to be made," the speaker stressed.
Yulia Romanova, Director of the OTS Sales Academy, drew attention to the competencies of SME management in customer search and procurement. She stated: "The limit of our competence is the individual area of responsibility. Electronic marketplaces are always trying to help market participants. One of the paramount tasks is an ecosystem that will enable the implementation of procurement participation at all stages of the procurement process - from the intention to participate in the procurement process to the completion of the procurement process by contract execution".
Evgeny Sultanov, Head of the Competition Development Fund, explained how to find understanding and ensure cooperation between large companies and small and medium-sized enterprises. In his opinion, cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises is a solution to many problems. But there should be a division of labour. There are competences in different spheres of SMEs that can be shared with each other in order to work and earn money.
