Yury Shafranik becomes Co-Chairman of the Neftegaz’2014 Organizing Committee and Takes the Chair at the Programme Committee of the Enercon Forum

Yury Shafranik, Board Chairman of the Russian Union of Oil and Gas Producers of Russia - the largest national non-governmental oil and gas association, - will take part in preparation for Neftegaz’2014 as co-chair of the Organizing Committee of the show and head of the Programme Committee of the Enercon Forum.

Commenting on his decision, Mr Shafranik stressed that Neftegaz was one of the major annual events in Russia, which encouraged dissemination of the latest technologies, scientific advances and best practices for the oil and gas sector.

He also noted that the sector enjoyed great attention from the President, Government and Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, which helped the industry to progress, modernize its facilities, develop new reserves and invigorate the entire economy of Russia.
