NEFTEGAZ'2010 - the 13th International Exhibition of Equipment and Technology for the Oil and Gas Industries ran successfully at the Expocentre Fairgrounds on June 21-25, 2010. The largest Russian and CIS-based industry show arranged by Expocentre together with Messe Dusseldorf GmbH (Germany) was held with the support from the Russian Federation Ministry of Energy; under the patronage of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Moscow City Government.

NEFTEGAZ is justly confirmed with labels of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).

Over 30 years the exhibition is remaining an effective platform for presentation of the science intensive products, launching of new projects, and business relations between Russian and foreign specialists of the oil-and-gas industry.   

Taking into account the active development of the global oil-and-gas industry and an increase of the Russia's role in this process the interest of leading domestic and foreign oil-and-gas companies in participation in major industry shows is growing.

About 1000 exhibitors from 35 countries took part in the NEFTEGAZ'2010 exhibition.  11 countries such as Canada, China, Czechia, Finland, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands and Norway arranged their national exhibit areas.

Oil-and-gas industry majors including China Petroleum Technology and Development (China), Combit (Sweden), GEP (France), Man Turbo (Germany), Mokveld Valves BV(the Netherland), Kanex Krohne (Germany), Polish Oil and Gas Company (Poland), R and B Industrial Supply (the USA), Siemens (Germany), VNG-Verbundnetz Gas AG (Germany), Wingas (Germany) and many other world leaders demonstrated their exhibits on the floor space of more than 24 000 sq. meters net.  

This year Russia was presented by 600 companies including OOO ABB, ANK Bashneft, OAO Gazprom, Gazpromneft, Zarubezhneft, NK Rosneft, Tatneft, Holding Company TNK-BP, Trubnaya Metallurgicheskaya Kompaniya (Metal Tubing Company), Machine-building Corporation Uralmash and a multitude of other well-to-do firms and organizations.   

The Neftegaz'2010 embraced not only enterprises of the oil-and-gas industry but also related services sector to attract more professional visitors to the exhibition. Leading energy and machine-building companies of the world demonstrated their oil-and-gas production recent technologies and state-of-the-art equipment.

Equipment and technologies of oil-and-gas production, transportation and processing, construction of surface field facilities at sea and on land, methods of the oil reservoirs production and enhancement extraction were of interest to a wide circle of specialists usually visiting the exhibition. The Neftegaz'2010 exposition showed oil-and-gas processing, petrochemistry and monitoring of the field transport systems, automated control systems  and telemechanization of drilling, production, gathering, transportation, storage and processing of oil and gas; control equipment; equipment and pipe lines corrosion prevention; units and insulating materials; ecology and many other things.

The exhibition was attended by about 20 000 specialists of the industry.

The Neftegaz'2010 programme of business related events comprised ENERKON'2010 - the 1st International Conference "Energy Efficiency and Energy Security through Innovative Development". The Conference covered topical issues relating to the innovative development of the oil-and-gas industry was arranged by the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and JSC Expocentre with the support and assistance from  the Russian Federation Ministry of Energy, the State Duma; under the patronage of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry. JSC 'PromExpo-K' was the event organizer.

The main reason to hold the Conference was the head industry professionals' concern caused by quick deterioration of resources texture, and thereafter by the oil-and-gas industry innovative development slowdown.

During the Conference Russian and foreign professionals and heads of the industry, representatives of the national and regional legislature and executive authorities, the Fuel and Energy Complex social organizations and financial institutions worked out system approaches to arrange conditions for the stable innovative development of the fuel and energy complex industries.     

Representatives of Russian leading oil-and-gas companies' management, directors of the largest branch-wise institutes, responsible people of the Department on State Energy Policy and Energy Efficiency of the RF Ministry of Energy as well as representatives of regional and foreign ministries and departments took part in the event. The Conference was attended by: German Embassy Counselor Joerg Kirsch, French Embassy Energy Attach¨¦ Vincent Pringault and other official representatives of the countries interested in development of relations with Russia in the field of oil-and-gas industry.

Specialists from Vietnam, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Poland, Russia, the USA, Finland and Switzerland participated in the Conference as speakers and listeners.    

At the Conference 20 topical reports were given. Within two working days over 200 specialists of the industry took part in the event.
