Russian Minister of Energy sent a welcome address to participants in Neftegaz 2019 and the National Oil and Gas Forum

Minister of Energy of Russia Alexander Novak sent a welcome address to the organisers, participants and visitors to Neftegaz 2019 and the National Oil and Gas Forum which run at Expocentre Fairgrounds on April 15-18 and 16-17 accordingly.

"Regularly facing the external challenges requiring immediate solutions, it is necessary to focus on the explicit plan of actions worked out in the context of an open dialogue between scientific and business communities, industry experts, and federal authorities. The Forum and the trade show serve as a platform for networking and partnership building," says the message.

The Minister said that the issues on the events' agenda were devoted to attraction of investments in the oil and gas sector, development of the market infrastructure, innovations and energy efficiency, analysis and optimisation of the fiscal policy, import substitution in the oil and gas industry, and digital development of the market. All these objectives, he emphasized, should be considered as a systematic exercise of the technical sovereignty of the country.

Alexander Novak is confident that following the results of the trade show and the Forum, the attendees will manage to come up with substantial recommendations to be put into practice and have a positive impact on the development of the oil and gas sector.
